For this years 2011 programme, we are please to have the services of Des Coppins and Donna Beck, and the expertise of Kel Munro - our 50 year veteran to ensure the experience had by our old and new customers, exceeds all expectations!
 
Des Coppins
The host for Radio Trackside’s popular ‘Track Talk’ programme, Des has been involved in racing for the past 37 years as a journalist, TV presenter and talk back host. He has escorted our Melbourne Cup Tours for the past 20 years and his knowledge of the Australian racing scene will make him invaluable on your tour.
 
 
Donna Beck
Born into a South Island racing family, Donna has been ‘going to the track’ as long as she can remember. Having owned and raced gallopers for many years, Donna now holds a ‘Permit to Train’ license and trains horses in Horowhenua. She also has an extensive knowledge of the racing industry and is a magnificent source of breeding and formline information. Now living in Levin, Donna keeps fit by riding track work in her spare time.
 
 
Kel Munro
For the past 30 years Kel has specialised in sporting tours and has escorted more than 5,000 fans on a variety of events worldwide. Kel is an avid horse racing fan, and this will be his 28th Melbourne Cup Tour since he started working in the travel industry. With so many visits to Melbourne under his belt, Kel’s knowledge of this sporting city and its many attractions are a real asset to the tour.
